A truck loaded with cattle has crashed into a bridge in Melbourne overnight, leaving cows trapped and injured, prompting calls from activists to move the animals to a sanctuary after the “horrific” incident.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night when the truck crashed into a rail bridge on Alexandra Avenue in South Yarra about 8.25pm.
